Business change management and wellbeing in the workplace are not only my areas of expertise, but my passion. I help companies to motivate, educate and support their employees so that they feel valued and equipped to come into work and do their job every day.
As an independent consultant with a cross-industry background, I’ve helped companies and public organisations to deliver successful HR and IT change programmes, as well as upskill teams with knowledge about how to manage and maintain their own wellbeing in both their work and personal life.
With a strong focus on corporate wellbeing, my mission is to change the way wellbeing is perceived in the corporate world. With clear strategies, techniques and practical solutions I support HR functions to deliver a robust wellbeing package that meets the culture and business need.
As a mentor, I support companies with internal assessment programmes for guidance, support and motivational team events.

Josie’s coaching style is unique in that she combines both training and mentoring support for her clients. They receive various successful techniques that they can apply in their own work life, along with encouragement, guidance and support that gets amazing results.
We invited Josie to present a half-day workshop on employee wellbeing to our HR network. Josie designed and delivered a programme that reviewed an organisations overall wellbeing strategy before looking more closely at mental health and mindfulness techniques to help reduce stress. Josie’s presenting style is a breath of fresh air; she is so positive and engaging. The feedback received from all delegates without exception was excellent. She shared her knowledge, facilitated stimulating group discussions and we have gone on to re-engage Josie on a number of occasions.
I contacted Josie initially to arrange stress resilience training for the management team. After speaking with Josie to discuss my requirements we agreed that a leaders wellbeing workshop would be more beneficial. Before the date of the workshop, Josie and I had another catch up and discussed the specific circumstances relevant to my company so that Josie could prepare the presentation and share with me prior to the workshop. We discussed the presentation and Josie was able to make some minor amendments based on my feedback to ensure that we were covering what was relevant to my company. During the workshop, Josie got the managers to think about their own wellbeing and also to consider the overall wellbeing strategy of the company, using real examples and statistics to support the theory. Overall the workshop was engaging and relevant and really got the managers to see the importance of overall wellbeing within the workforce, sparking numerous discussions throughout the session. I will now be looking for Josie to provide some stress resilience training for another area of the business.
Haven Power’s 2018 wellbeing strategy focused on mental wellbeing. One of the activities was to refresh our Stress Management at Work training for managers. To support us with the design, we contacted Waddington Brown for Train the Trainer workshops who in turn put us in contact with Josie. Knowing our business and listening to what we were hoping to get out from this session, Josie tailored her approach and provided us with bespoke training. At the end of the day, we were equipped with a wealth of knowledge and given practical tools on how to manage stress at work. All delegates individually benefited from a better understanding of our own causes for stress and Josie gave us some great ideas on how to promote International Stress Awareness Week at work which we put in place and were well received by employees.
